SURROUNDING AREA
The Old School
The Old School, known locally as the "Mary Innes School", was built in 1920, and functioned as an elementary school for nearly a century. It was designed by the noted Montana Architect, Fred Fielding Wilson. Wilson designed many buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
When the local elementary school moved elsewhere, the Mary Innes was renovated into offices and loft apartments. Each loft is furnished and has a new luxury kitchen and bathroom, TV and high-speed internet, new hardwood floors, private entry, laundry room, high ceilings and retains some architectural touches of the original school.
Nightly (2-night min) rentals and longer-term leases are available.
Dillion, Montana, a great small town with a population of 4,200, is the center of government for Beaverhead County. The surrounding area is a paradise for those who love the outdoors and the western tradition. It is home to the Beaverhead and Big Hole rivers, and the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest.
The lofts are easy walking distance to the old commercial part of Dillon, with restaurants, shopping and amenities. Street parking is available.
